C2300 Array problem
I have a C2300 Array attached by scsi to
a V2250.
When trying to boot with hp-ux 11i cd to
do clean install the system hangs on I/O
address 6/0/0.4.0 which is the HP c2300
array. See below.
.
.
.
* Querying disk device: 2/0/0.10.0 ...
* Querying disk device: 2/0/0.11.0 ...
* Querying disk device: 6/0/0.4.0 ...
The cstm output for this device shows(see inclosed file).
Here is the firmware rev's and look at the one
disk REV 3514 that does not match the other HP drives in the array REV HP03:
Cache: 64mb
Systm: 2mb Firmware Rev: HP02
Read: 21mb Enabled Microcode Rev: 8.20.00 Auto Trespass: Off
Write: 41mb Enabled Prom Rev Levl: 8.02.00 Stat Logging: Of
Fru Vendor Product ID AprxCap Serial Number Rev
--- -------- ---------------- ------- ---------------- -----
.
.
.
A1 SEAGATE ST15150N 4.2gb 01668460 HP03
B1 SEAGATE ST15150N 4.2gb 02763714 3514
C1 SEAGATE ST15150N 4.2gb 03273627 HP03
.
.
.
COULD THIS BE CAUSING THE PROBLEM?
IS THERE ANY FIRMWARE UPDATES THE WOULD FIX THIS HANGING PROBLEM WITH THE 11i CD INSTALL?
