CPT & XPDT for xp12000
I run CPT 50-02-01/99 and XPDT 2.6.0 (db version: 1.47.00) and I want to get infos from a xp12000, but website is not helpful: it says R500 and R450 are the same, but it isn't. On xp1024, I have a svp_conf.exe updated daily under c:\dkc200\others\backup to take and expand on my ws to feed CPT. On xp12000 I just have found some svp_conf.tgz files, NOT recent (even into the floppy disk) and not daily updated but I don't know how to use them by CPT & XPDT. Questions: 1) Can you help me by a step-by-step procedure to do so? 2) Is it ok that svp_conf.tgz are not daily updated like xp48-512-128-1024's ?

Re: CPT & XPDT for xp12000
CPT and XPDT are internal tools - nobody here can help you.
I suggest you ask around internally.
Cheers,
Vince

Hmm.. sounds like your working on the SVP??!
I guess your an HP Tech? Sorry amigo but we're hands off the SVP. We're only allowed at the CommandView PC. Only properly trained HP Tech are allowed at the XP12K SVP.

Re: CPT & XPDT for xp12000
Thanks for your answers. Yes, I'm an HP ASE, using command view 2.0 and accessing svp only to look for the specific file allowed to act as CPT input (as I'm used to for xp1024's). I just tryied this forum since internal HP web sites cannot help me, but now I understand that this is the wrong place to ask. Sorry for my mistake, and ciao!
