CR 3500 and Linux

I have CL1850 cluster but there is no configuration utility available for shared CR 3500 storage.
Can I configure it thru serial port at the back of the box? Are there any manuals about that?

Yes, you can configure the CR3500 controller through the serial port on the back of the box.

Attach a Windows machine to it and copy the CR3500 folder from a SmartStart CD 5.50 or earlier to the local drive of that machine.

Run the setup.exe from that folder - you can use the utility to setup and monitor your shared storage.

Documentation should be in that folder as well.

Cheers,

Janine
