CV EVA 9.1 failing to respond
Hi all,
This is an issue that I've seen a few people post about so far, e.g. http://forums13.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1281670 and http://forums13.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1279205.
When using CV EVA it regularly fails to respond and won't display anything in the right pane, making administration of the EVA very difficult.
I'm running CV EVA 9.1 on Windows 2003 R2 (x86) and restarting the service allows me to browse CV EVA briefly but it stops not long after.
One of the users in the threads above logged a call w/ HP and apparently the solution was to remove the configured SNMP hosts after presenting the EVA to a box running CV EVA 7 - this isn't a luxury I've got unfortunately as any change requires change control etc etc.
Has anyone else experienced this? I'd like to get it solved before I need to login to fix something only to find CV EVA isn't available ... :)
Thanks!
Chris

Re: CV EVA 9.1 failing to respond
Oh and sometimes when attempting to restart the CV EVA service it won't stop until cveva.exe is killed.
