Can only see 7 of 8 hard drives
I can't get the array controller to see all of the hard drives. I have 6 hot swap and 2 non hot swap drives. They are all 36.4 gig/10K rpm. The controller only sees 7 of the Drives (all 6 hot swap and 1 non
hot swap). I've upgraded to the latest Bios, controller and disk drive firmware. The SCSI id's on the non hot swap drives are set as 5 and 6, so there is no conflict there. I've even tried different non hot swap
drives thinking that one may be defective but that didn't help. The array controller is a Smart Controller 5302 with 32MB SDRAM (part number 171383-001). The server is an ML370 (1 gig) processor. The controller doesn't see SCSI ID 6 (a non hot pluggable drive). The hot plug drives SCSI ID's are 0-5. The softpaq numbers that have been applied are: 16369, 17863, and 16373. Any ideas? Solutions? Thanks.
