Can the 3200 smart array be used in a non-compaq server
Can the smart array 3200 controller card be used in a non-compaq server? We have an old ML330 and a supermicro 6010h that we are trying build for a test lab and are trying to use some old 3200 controller cards that we have. Works great in the ml330, but won't get past card initialization on the supermicro (keeps saying it need to reset the nvram and reboots)? Are we trying the impossible here? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated?

Re: Can the 3200 smart array be used in a non-compaq server
Hi, unfortunately the 3200 are made to work with proliant and also you have to use the SCU (system configuration utility and the ACU (array configuration utility) So it might just no work for the clone server.
