Command View direct to server

Hello,
I have a CV v9.3 directly connected to a EVA4400 (09534000) and do not see.

Why might that be? Does the CV does not support direct connections to the EVA?

Thanks,

Re: Command View direct to server

Does the server see the EVA in the Device Manager?

Re: Command View direct to server

Device manager does see the EVA.
From the management module of the EVA. I make a virtual disk, I present and all ok.

Device manager does see all disks.

Thanks,

Re: Command View direct to server

Check in SPOCK that the FCA you're using supports direct connect to an EVA4400. Not all support this. And check what driver you're using.

I had a case recently with an Qlogic HBA that Command View could not access the EVA if the latest driver was installed.

Re: Command View direct to server

If u have Brocade HBA on the system, then there is a know issue that Command view EVA will not work.

The same issue has been observed for 4GB HBA also. The windows Patch is solved the issue.
