Command View v8.0.1 snmp notification to SIM v5.2 fails
I have a Problem sending events out of CV 8.0.1 to SIM v5.2 The EVA shows up in SIM correct, i can see Versions, Diskgroups WWNs so on. In CV i have configured the SIM Trust and the Event Notification aswell as the Host Notification. For Testing purposes i have set the EventNotification to ALL EVENTS. But no single Event shows up in SIM.
Who can help me with this problem?
Any Help apprciated!

Re: Command View v8.0.1 snmp notification to SIM v5.2 fails
You need to enable host notication as well. I think the alerts you'll recieve in HP SIM will not be EVA Specific.
To configure host notification:
a. Click the array.
a. Click the System options, found on the right side of the webpage in the details displayed for that particular array.
b. On the resulting webpage click Configure host notification.
c. On the resulting Configure host notification webpage, click modify host list.
d. On the resulting Modify Host Notification List web page under Add a host to the list, enter the IP address of the management server. Add a host to the list:
Enter a host name and notify port
e. Click Save Changes so that the IP address gets added to the list.
f. On the Configure Host Notification webpage, click OK.
Moreover make sure that SNMP is running on SMA. If running try restarting it.
