Connect S-ATA Disk Enclosure (MSA20) without RAID Controller

Hi together,

I need to connect an S-ATA disk enclosure (MSA20) direct to a host without a RAID Controller or an MSA1500.

My application only allows physikal attached disks and not virtual disks.

Is there any possibility to connect?
Or is there an other (non HP) disk enclosure on the market who allows direct connection?
