Convert vdisks Redundancy level from vraid1 to vraid5 on HP EVA 6000

Hello All,

We have a setup with EVA6000 17TB of storage. Initially all the disks are configured with the redundancy level of the vdisks to vraid1. We need to convert the vdisk redundancy level to vraid5. Is there any way to convert the redundancy level from 1 to 5 without affecting the disks. Please Advise.

Thanks,

Re: Convert vdisks Redundancy level from vraid1 to vraid5 on HP EVA 6000

From CV user manual:

"...Once a virtual disk is created, its Vraid type cannot be changed."

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Hello,

if you have a business copy license you can create clone with another VRAID level.
