Critical Firmware Error
I just upgraded the firmware on a Smart-2 SL array controller. Previously it was at 2.02 and I just upgraded it to 4.32. Now, when I restart the Proliant 3000 (E39 4/19/00) in which it is installed, I get a message that there is a "CRITICAL FIRMWARE ERROR" and to load the latest version. However, if I hit F1 to continue, my server loads fine. BTW, I used Smart Start 4.8 to configure the server.
Is this a critial error and what should I do to correct the problem? TIA.

Re: Critical Firmware Error
The "critical firmware" relates to the firmware of one or several disks connected to the controller. This is a feature of the new controller firmware. It is strongly recomended to upgrade the firmware of the harddisk(s).
