D2600 with P812 controller failing logical drives

I have a DL160 G6 server with a P812 controller connected to a D2600.  The D2600 has 12 x 3TB drives.  We use this server for backupexec and as a Deduplication store.  We continue to lose our logical drives stating they have failed.  We have replaced drives but continue to have same issue.  Firmwares are all up to date, and we are running server 2008 r2.

We can reinitialize the logical drive after failure but have noticed corrupt data.  It seems to happen about 12-15 hours into being utilized.  Controller card shows no logs of failures.  Our supplier support team has replaced drives, and the P812 on warranty.  Anyone run into this or have any suggestions?

Re: D2600 with P812 controller failing logical drives

Does the ADU report (report) give any high error counters?

Hi

I found the following.  This was the highest error count that I found.

[   Top ] → [ Smart Array P812 in slot 2 ] → [ StorageWorks D2600 at Port 2E :   Box 1 ] → [ Drive Cage on Port 2E ] → [ Physical Drive (3 TB SATA) 2E:1:1 ] →   Serial SCSI Physical Drive Error Log
