DL145 SATA Drivers SBS 2003

I have a DL145 with 80G NHP hard drive and I am trying to load Windows Small Business Server 2003 Std. Every driver I have found and loaded on a 3.5" fails on install. I need to know which driver is correct for the embedded SATA controller. I have installed the OS on this hard drive on an ML110 G3 and it worked fine but blue screens when inserted in the DL145?!

Here is an acceptable workaround while we find the drivers and some information you might need:

1- PATA = Paralell ATA 133 MB/s
2- SATA = Serial ATA 150 MB/s

Workaround:

Quoting: I figured out a work around. In the cmos go to advanced and change SATA settings from SATA to PATA and the OS will find the drives. I imagine they will come out with a working driver some day. Until then, I will prolly have degraded disk performance. Switching back to SATA mode after the OS install results in the BSOD experience.

Here is a quote from the OS config guide: Use the native SATA mode if you are installing a Linux operating system. Use the PATA setting if you are installing Microsoft Windows.
CAUTION: If you do not change the SATA mode setting to PATA before you install Windows with the default ATA driver, the
operating system will hang.

Thank you! I actually finally figure that out. Weird you have to use PATA and apparenly there is no driver to use SATA emulation?! Thanks fo the help!
