DL360 w/ RAID 1+0: swapping physical drive

I have a DL360 w/ RAID 1+0 and (2) 36.4 GB drives. I want to remove one of the drives, replace it w/ a new drive. Let the new drive sync w/ the other running drive. Remove the new drive, and keep it as an offline backup. Then re-install the other original drive. How do I accomplish this? Do I need to delete the logical drive? Or just remove one of the drives hot?

I would shut down the host, so that the drives are fully sync'ed and consistant, then

remove the drive you wish to remove.

Boot the system, and listen to it complain.

Once up, install the new drive and let it Sync.
