I have a new Opteron DL585 and I am trying to get RHEL3 installed with no luck. I fear there is a cciss driver issue here but I am not sure. I had downloaded the new driver from HP for the array controller and used it with the install with no luck. Anything else out there I need to know/try/do/pull out my hair? Thannks in advance.

Hi
I think you might want to check with HP since when we had this issues with RedHat AS 2.1 they asked to try and install the OS with Update 2 (Update 1 or 3 would not work)very strange but as they said it worked fine.
You can also check on the web where they would have mentioned saying it will work only with update X.
Rgds
