Re: DS2405-Size
when i take pvcreate -f :
=======
[MAILSVR:/] pvcreate -f /dev/rdsk/c5t4d0
Physical volume "/dev/rdsk/c5t4d0" has been successfully created.
=======
and take long time (3 min)
and then, i take vgcreate:
=======
[MAILSVR:/] vgcreate vg02 /dev/dsk/c5t4d0
vgcreate: Physical Volume "/dev/dsk/c5t4d0" contains no LVM information
[MAILSVR:/]
-------
Now i consider that 05 new disks is impossible to use for Disk system 2405 (without Vituarl disk Array).
If it is possible, pls show me how?

Re: DS2405-Size
Not sure exactly whether doing a mediainit on the disk would help..just give a try.
mediainit /dev/rdsk/c5t11d0
There are some utilities available in ODE to change the block size of the hard disk..
with best wishes
