HI
Whenever i am writing data on to the disk array disk array is going offiline , alst week i havereplaced SP also still its going offiline and asking me to run this command for details i attached the report pls find the attachment Please help in this

The error message says to replace the BBU (Battery Backup Unit).

Have you done so?

what is BBU can u please tell me where is that so that i will replace. last week i have changed SP A also . please go through my last messages

The battery backup unit is not part of the Storage Processor. In this unit it will be in the rear of the unit behind the fans. Be careful as the BBU is a bit heavy.

I am not too surprised that you are seeing this failure as these are lead-acid batteries (i believe) and these arrays have been around a while.

The part number for the BBU for the Mod 30 array is A3231-69005.

You can hotswap these, but do so only when you have the new part on hand as you cannot have the fans open for more than a few minutes.
