Difference between HP EVA8K, EMC CX700, IBM DS4800(84A) & NetAPP FAS3050

Hi,

We are going to RFP/procure new external storage 168 units FC HDD (112units 146GB & 56units 300GB 10K) with Active/Active Controller 4GB or 8GB Cache for using FC SAN 10 Server HPUX 11i v2 for running Oracle 9i/10G Database.

Could any one suggest us which external storage is best on performance/manageable and suitable for HP-UX 11i v2 Server and also Oracle 9i/10G Database or any comparison sheet?

Hi,
take a look here.
http://www.storageperformance.org/results
DS4800 is said to be more powerfull because of 4GB backend. Other storages have 2GB.
Just check product specs and matrixes at each vendor site.
