Disk array mangement software
I was told that HP provides a piece of software that runs on a windows desktop and will access the array configuration software on an HP windows server. Does anyone know what it's called, and/or where i can obtain a copy.

Re: Disk array mangement software
HP sells different families of storage arrays and each family has its own management utility.
If you tell us the type of storage array, I am sure we can give better help.

Re: Disk array mangement software
Hi William,
both the RS/8 and SC10 are mostly used as JBOD's attached to a array controller like i.e. a Netraid controller or the older Mylex DAC960 (HP DAC) for the RS/8.
The SC10 was never directly supported on Windows as a JBOD, only on HP UX. On Windows it was supported when used behind a FC/60 fibre array controller.
For all those different array controllers their are separate utilities needed, pls specify how you will use these RS/8 or SC10, so in other words to what controller will you connect them to, then we can point
you to the right utilities.
