Disk drive on-line - Not able to mount the device

My current environment; SW800 with HSZ50 controllers, and running OpenVMS 7.3-2. I have an array (4x4.3Gb), which I can't seem to find out why I can't mount the array even though it's on-line. I even 'set host/scsi $1$dkc301' and I can't see anything wrong with the array. But when I do 'sho dev dk' and see the device $1$dkc301 is on-line, but not able to mount the device. I am not an expert with HSZ50 controllers. Therefore, I can use all the help I can get. Please help!!
