Drive Access Lights

I have 2500r with 5 drives in raid 5 configuration. Upgraded to 4.44 on the Smart 2/p with 16meg cash on it. Can't seem to get the access lights off for very long in the array. I upgraded the system bios to the newest version. Did I miss something? Disabled the internal SCSI. Still not much luck. Thanks..

Re: Drive Access Lights

Not quite sure what you mean , but if the LEDS are on for a long period of time during idle time , the Array Controller is performing a function called " Dynamic Sector Tracking or " Dynamic Sector Repairing: . Continually scans hard disk drives and automatically remaps bad sectors, thus ensuring data integrity.
