Dual NetRAID 4M controller on a single server
hi All,
I would like to configure dual Netraid 4M on a single LH6000 server and have the two controllers mirror the array(s) which I will create on two RS12 boxes.
Is this configuration do-able and how do you approach this?
Thanks.

Re: Dual NetRAID 4M controller on a single server
In general, there is no problem having multiple hardware RAID controllers in a single server so that part should work fine for you.
If I understand your question you want each controller to have it's own array of disks, but the two arrays will be mirrored?
You can do that with software mirroring but I don't believe there is a way to do the mirroring in hardware. Windows NT ftdisk.sys will give you the software mirror but the performance hit will be substantial.
HTH,
Paul
