Hello All,

Not sure if it’s the right place to post question, but I am sure lots of you are using EMC on HP platform.

I am trying to run following command and getting following error. Any idea.

symld -g ProdDB add dev 01C temp2

Cannot add device to a Device Group because it is a 'META MEMBER'

hi;

it seems that device 01c added to another meta device . it is not an single meta device. check the device name.

But under powermt I have only one LUN device with that number.

THX for your help. It was the issue with the way it's ZONE. Still working on the fix.
