To make it easier to find information about HPE Storage products and solutions, we are doing spring cleaning. This includes consolidation of some older boards, and a simpler structure that more accurately reflects how people use HPE Storage.

Re: EMC tools

Jerome,

I'm not familiar with xpinfo, and I could find any doc's on it, but EMC has a lot of tools to manage their storage arrays. Talk to your EMC dudes about ECC.

Re: EMC tools

As Harry has mentioned, ECC is the tool that EMC uses. It has some really good features. We have it and although I'm a command line person, this is not too bad!

Re: EMC tools

Yes, you want a tool called;

inq
or inq.HP
or syminq

You can download from emc.com (search for it)

Re: EMC tools

If you have solutions enabler or SYMCLI installed on of your hosts connected to an EMC symmmetrix frame , you will get tons of commands to get symmetrix information .

ECC is a good product . Its a GUI based product but it needs and gets all information from the solutions enabler or SYMCLI .
