Is there now a special hardware monitor for VA series storage. Where is all the events defined?

According to the support products matrix, the VA7400 which is product A6189A is supported as of July 2000: http://www.docs.hp.com/hpux/onlinedocs/diag/ems/ems_prod.htm#High_Availablity_Storage_System

It has special requirements, also listed there:
Special Requirements

HP-UX 11.xx, September 2000 Release or later
TCP/IP port 2818 must be available
