EVA 6400,command view can not find

the EVA controllers in Windows 2003 R2 x64 device manager can be seen,but command view can not find EVA6400
manage server: IBM X3850 x5
HBA : 42D0485 Emulex 8Gb FC Single-port HBA for IBM System x
SAN SWTICH:2498-B24 IBM System Storage SAN24B-4 Express
SYSTEM:WIN2003 R2 X64

Has this ever worked?
Have you restarted the service/server?
Do you have zoning configured? - Is anything else zoned in together with the EVA controllers at this stage? If so, may be that something else is hogging LUN0.

If you have zoning configured, make sure that the server is zoned in to both EVA controllers as command view only communicates with the master controller. You can see which is the master via the OCP menu in the front of the HSV400 controller.

YES.
I Had restarted the server and storage.
ZONE not configured,because EVA6400 controllers connected two san swtich.
both master controller and slave controller same port connect same san switch.

If not, can you clarify (picture maybe?) how the EVA is connected to the SAN-switches and how the server is connected to the SAN-switches?

Hmmm.. an IBM x3850 X5 just to manage an EVA array? What a waste of processing power sir!

But I digress.

It is likely you need a Windows Patch that addresses an issue with 8Gbit FC-HBAs communicating with EVA Controllers...

Ensure too that you have zxoned your Server's HBAs with the EVA Controller's FPs.
