EVA 8000 ALPA

Is there a single resource for looking at EVA 8000 ALPA information? I know that there is an EVA 5000 ALPA diagram out there but I have been unsuccessful in locating something similar for the 8000.

Thanks.

Re: EVA 8000 ALPA

Hi,
yes, but they are HP internal tools.
You can get the info from command view & I'm pretty sure from SSSU [I just don't remember looking for that info/fields in the output] which are not. Try "ls disk full" -should be in there. You can also find your quorum disks from here, which is not possible from cmd vw.
If you run a script for SSSU you could then capture the output & search/edit the file to find the info you require.

Hi again,
Just remembered I had a capture on my laptop and yes the info is there.
Look for:
loops

portwwid .........................: 2000-0004-CF39-5E5E
loopid ...........................: 110
assignedlun ......................: 0
loopstate ........................: good
loopalpa .........................: 27
loopposition .....................: 9
loop
loopname .........................: loopb
portwwid .........................: 2000-0004-CF39-5E5E
loopid ...........................: 110
assignedlun ......................: 0
loopstate ........................: good

Re: EVA 8000 ALPA

Thanks for the information, Mark.
What I was actually looking for was a mapping of ALPA, much like was provided by Peter Mattei in this thread => http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1124493

That is the little beauty I have not been able to find for the 8000. Of course, if it is the same for both the 5000 and 8000 (which I doubt) then I don't need to look anymore.

Thanks again!
