It's listed in the SMA's event code definitions manual:
"A Fibre Channel exchange to a physical disk drive has completed but is missing data."

Hi,

I don't think it could result in data coruption.

We experienced it quite a few times and it allways pointed to some FC loop hardware problem, if there were lots of messages. (Bad disk, bad gbic, bad cable...).
But never experienced any data corruption.

Our costumer complains about dataloss or corruption.
Now he's asking are the events involved?
What shall i tell him?

Open a call with the service provider (most likely HP) and have them analyze the controller logs. They have the necessary tools to go over the data in an efficient way.
