EVA maximum LUN capacity
Hi
can you tell me what is the maximum capacity of a LUN we can create on EVA 4000? what is the limiting factor of this capacity?
is it XCS version?

Hi Aneez,
Currently all EVAs have a limit of just under 2TB for a LUN (2047MB).
I think I've heard that there are plans to remove this limit in a later version of XCS, however I'm not sure when this is likely to be released.

Anyway, 2TB is a very large size for a single VDISK. Normally, you will have better performance if you create several luns and spread the load between them, even when it's a virtualized array.
