EVA replication with different CV versions?
EVA replication is running now on 2 EVA4100 with CV 7.
i want to upgrade CV to version 9 on only one EVA.
is it possible without damaging the replication?

Re: EVA replication with different CV versions?
If you do not change the firmware on the EVAs, the Command Version does not affect replication. (*)
But you should have Command View 9.1 on both management servers, since currently the only supported firmware is 62x0, and that needs CV 8 or 9.
(*) not by itself, it may have effect if you use RSM to automatize Continous Access.

Re: EVA replication with different CV versions?
For replication, CVE should see both EVA's to setup the replication (or change the configuration). So upgrading to CVE 9 you should manage both EVA's with this management system (as CVE 7 is nog able to manage an EVA that has been managed with CVE 9.)
