EVA3000 Controller

Hi All ,
i have to replace the HSV100 Controller of an EVA3000 (one of the two controller is defected )
is there any special procedure i should take to make the replacement ,??

The requirement is that must be done online, so it will take the firmware version of the active controller.

Power off the controller, remove, install the new controller, connect the cables. All information will be taked from the active controller.

Just to add to the current answer...

Make sure you have MPIO software or something of the sort that can handle multiple paths on the hosts connected to the storage...

just to add to the 2nd answer, if u have Secure path installed u need not worry.

You can always download the MPIO drivers form Microsoft website
