EVA4000 and HP-UX 11i v2

When using HP-UX 11i v2, ServiceGuard 11.17 and EVA4000 When creating VGs using pvlinks, which option is the best on the EVA

no preference
Path A - Failover Only
Path B - Failover Only
Path A - Failover/Failback
Path B - Failover/Failback

HP-UX can use No preference, or Path A/B Failover only.
Por que hacerlo dificil si es posible hacerlo facil? - Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the easy way?

Peter,

I always use no preferenc when i present EVA disk to an HP9000.

I think its a whole new game with EVA 4/6/8K family as the controllers are now active=active, which means you can now use (apart from PVLINKs correctly) - DMP and other native multi-pating options.

For 11i V2 - since VxVM is even better and more native than in 11i v1, I will actually prefer VxVM for all includin gmy OS disks since the EVA 4/6/8K are natively supported in DMP...
