We are in the way to upgrade our EVA4000 (HSV200) firmware from xcs v5.10 to xcs v6.200. We have upgraded our san infrastructure and Command view to 6.0.2 and every thing is working properly.
When tried to code load to xcs v6.110, browse to the file "HSV200.SSS" we have got this error: Operation failed, status code 21006, invalid firmware image file (global header EDC error). Same error when trying "200_6110.SSS".
My EVA4000 controller information shows (HSV200-A) and the hp PN: AD554B.
Our source is an HP ISO file (T4256-10014.iso).
Any help please?
Is there any path that we could use to download another copy of v6.110?
Thanks for your help.

Re: EVA4000 code load error: invalid firmware image file
"... XCS v6.1 is available from HP Services as part of your warranty or service agreement on the EVA4100, EVA6100, or EVA8100. This does not apply to the EVA4400.
If you are not under warranty or a service agreement, HP Services will provide the upgrade for a fee. XCS v6.1 is also available as a download via Software Depot in the "Storage and NAS" section
Please contact your HP service representative for information and assistance with this upgrade, or visit HP Services web site...."
Here is the URL that they mention, but I do not see any v6.110.

Re: EVA4000 code load error: invalid firmware image file
First of all:
- The most current firmware version for the EVA4000 is XCS 6.220
- Then prerequisite for XCS 6.2xx is Command View 8.0.2 or higher; most current version is 9.2 which I would go for!
Important: When going to Command View 7 and higher you need new licenses for Command View and Business Copy, Continuous Access if present because the licensing schema changes to enforced licensing!
If you do have a valid support contract you will receive a new license entitlement certificates by mail. The license keys will cover the entire Command View EVA capacity registered as support.
Obtaining a license key
- Your License Entitlement Certificate provides three options to request a license key (password) from Webware and enter it in HP Command View EVA.
- Fax the Password Request Form that came with your License Entitlement Certificate (see the certificate for fax numbers in your area). When you receive the license key, skip to step 9 in the section Installing a license key.
- Call or email the HP Password Center (see the License Entitlement Certificate for telephone numbers and email addresses in your area). When you receive the license key, skip to step 9 in the section Installing a license key.
- Obtain a license key from http://webware.hp.com
For further details read the respective release notes on http://docs.hp.com
Cheers
Pete
