We are currently designing an EVA4400 setup and we want to use two redundant SAN switches with each two connections to the EVA4400 controller.
The EVA4400 Installation guide doesn't mention any cabling layouts and I was wondering if this was possible since each controller has 2 FC connections for SAN switch/direct access.
Can anybody confirm this? Just want to be sure :)

Solution
The EVA4400 uses the "straight-cable" layout like the EVA4x00/6x00/8x00:
- put FP1 of each controller on Fabric A, or whatever you call it.
- put FP2 of each controller on Fabric B
You can see it on page 228 of the March 2008 edition of the "SAN Design Guide".
I think this is the current link:
