EVA4400 disks seen as rscsi in hp-ux 11.11
Hi all!
I have a cluster of 2 rp4440 with exactly the same patching and software.
This morning, I started mapping new disks of a new EVA4400, and curiously, one node see the disks correctly but the other one, see all the disks as sctl ( /dev/rscsi)cxtydz )
I have double-checked that the operating system selected in CV EVA is HP-UX and made rmsf - insf with all the flags a lot of times, but no way.
Any idea why it could be??
Best regards

Re: EVA4400 disks seen as rscsi in hp-ux 11.11
Seeing is believing, can you post some more (best would be an ioscan -fn together with an evainfo output)?
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: EVA4400 disks seen as rscsi in hp-ux 11.11
Finally it was solved rebooting the server...
I though there was a lot of "bad stuff" in /dev/rdsk /dev/dsk
I clean up the directories and reboot
Best regards
