Re: EVA5000 CV
1. Yes. Check here...
" ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software7/COL13874/co-39048-1/ "
Also, look here for updates...
" http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=1833644&prodTypeId=12169&prodSeriesId=471497&swLang=13&taskId=135&swEnvOID=1005 "
2. The latest CV usually supports earlier VCS and XCS, so use the latest. It has the most features. You should usually match your disk firmware with your VCS or XCS. Disk Firmware generally comes out when new VCS/XCS firmware comes out, unless there is an absolute need for it to be separate (bad bugs fixed...)
3. Sounds good. The next available version is 4.x (not sure of the sublevel number) which introduces Active/Acyive controllers as well as some other newer features. It also introduces the need to upgrade from SecurePath... to MPIO.
