Would anyone happen to have pinouts and details on the EMU rs232 port? I have an EVA5000 that I do not carry hardware support on (test env) and would like to exhaust all options before opening a T&M call with HP Support.
Thanks!

Solution
Hi,
I dont have a pin layout drawing..
But here are some information:
A special RS232 cable (part number 17-04845-04, available from Field Service Logistics).
One end of this cable has an RJ45-type male connector, which plugs into the EMU. The
other end has two 9-pin, D-type female connectors, which can plug into the
communication (COM) ports on the PC. Only one of these 9-pin connectors is used for the
download procedure.

Re: EVA5000 EMU rs232 pinout and usage
Hi,
Even if you get a cable some of the options are password protected which HP does not give out!

Re: EVA5000 EMU rs232 pinout and usage
Based on the feedback provided and input from an HP CE, we're going to replace the EMU.
