EVA5000 - VCS 3.025

Hello!
Does anyone knows if VCS 3.025 is already released for customers? Where can I find the release notes for this version?

Hello Cecilia,
as far as I can tell, it is not generally available. It is, however, possible to get it for special projects, e.g. the new cluster extensions for Windows require it.

Hi Cecilia,

Based on a HP's response, it was supposed to be out in late January - early Feb the latest. This obviously did not eventuate. I have heard from colleagues that a local copy (without proper certification/testing is kicking around and available via internal loops - i would rather wait for the production one tho)

I have been told a few days ago that the new FW is now expected in April and it might not be called 3.025.

We are eagerly waiting for the end of fake disk blower alarms issue with the current VCS 3.020. The new FW supposedly has the fix for it.

No doubt that there is something circulating internally, but I would not expect anything to show up for now except as an accident.

UFOs are real - 3.025 does not exist ;-)

any reason why you need this VCS code so urgently? documentation would be hard to gather from a public web space - as Uwe mentions, some information can be obtained via the internal chains.

Just wanted to know... During december I've received a support alert mentioning that version "Bulletin: Restrictions to use of VRaid0 Snapshot Units for EVA3000/5000 with VCS v3.020 or v3.025 (CB0203W)", so I thought it was released.
On the other hand, we are stacked at version 3.014 because 3.020 does not support 1GB Cambex HBAs (PC1000), so I wanted to know if they were supported in 3.025 and what others benefits we could get from it.
