EVA5000 to 8100 upgrade

Hi,
Is the upgrade form an EVA5000 to an 8100 a data in place upgrade or will we need to restore from tape when the upgrade is complete?

Can any one who has done this before offer any advice on any gotcha's which they may have come across.

Thanks,
D

The EVA 5000 is of first generation and 8100 is of second generation. Both are with different controllers.

you need to restore data after the upgrade.
