Hi,
We have an EVA6400 with vSphere 4.1 hosts connected to it, using round robin on the servers. On a specific lun, will host ports on both controllers be used or only host ports on the managing controller?

Re: EVA6400, vSphere 4.1 and i/o
In what scenario can you use all host ports? Is that only with windows hosts?

Re: EVA6400, vSphere 4.1 and i/o
Each LUN has a Lun-master. All actions to this LUN is done by the LUN master. IO's send to the other controller will be served by proxy. Works fine but is not the optimum.
You can spread the LUN's evenly over the controllers to make efficient use of all the ports and both the controllers.
My 2 cents
