EVA8100 XCS 6250 firmware upgrade

Hi,

Kindly let me know whether we can do the firmware upgrade online for the EVA8100.

Now currently my EVA8100 HSV210 controller running with 6220. I plan to upgrade XCS 6250 version.

For example there is some information on page 22 (but it's a good idea to read most of the guide and the release notes):

"When performing an online upgrade, to ensure a resynchronization time of less than 60
seconds, the total allocated capacity should be 10 TB or less and the configuration cannot
contain DR groups. "

As an administrator of four EVAs who has done dozens of firmware updates, I would recommend planning the firmware upgrade for a maintenance window and if you have any critical applications such as production databases running on the EVA, I would take them offline.
