EVA8100 vs. EVA8400
I would like to know wich are the advantages between the EVA8100 vs EVA8400; also which are the improvement about the performance and the leveling that they do.
If you have a white paper or an official document about these information.
Thanks in advance!

Re: EVA8100 vs. EVA8400
Hi Jesus,
Lots of white papers on both systems on HP's site. We have both EVA's here, and my preference is for the 8400, especially when using c7000 enclosures.
Whilst the leveling appears to be a lot faster on our 8400, remember its a background task, and is dependant on a lot of factors.
If it was my choice I would go for the later tecnnology, it will give you a longer shelflife. The 8100 has been out for more than a few years now.
hope this helps
JC

Re: EVA8100 vs. EVA8400
The EVA8400 has more RAM (14/22GB), and maximum number of drives (324), and the firmware has features not present on old models.
