you can re-use an M4314 or M4354 disk drive enclosure. For new buys you'd choose either the MSA30 SB or MSA30 DB enclosure.
SB = single bus - all 14 disks connect to the same SCSI bus
DB = dual bus - 7 disk on the left side go to one bus, 7 disks on the right side go to the other bus
The MSA1000 has two external busses, so you can use:
- 2x M4314 or MSA30 SB
- 1x M4354 or MSA30 DB
For the MSA30 you'd need recent firmware in the MSA1000.
