Expand Raid 5 Array on 6400 in DL380

We have dl380 with all 6 drives loaded. 2 drives are on the 5i controller as a mirror. The 4 other 146 gb drives are attached to the 6400 controller and are configured as a raid 5 volume (array 2). We have created a logical drive of 420027MB (Max for array 2). We pulled one of these 146 GB drives in the raid 5 (array 2) and put in a 300 GB drive, the 5 raid repaired the aray. Now we want to expand the volume with the extra space of the 300 GB drive (approx 100 GB worth). The ACU see's the bigger drive, but does not give us an option to expand the array. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Danny,
Free space from 300GB drive is NOT part of your RAID5. If you put bigger drive to your array created from smaller drives, you just lost capacity. No chance to add it to RAID.
You have only option to replace ALL drives with 300GB disk, and than create new disk from "rest" of disks.

Thanks Andrzej

I replaced all 146 GB drives with 300 GB drives and was then able to expand the array as expected. Thanks for the input.
