Extend RAID 5 Array
Hi all,
I have an MSA20 Encloser with 9 500gb SATA disks. It has two array:
Array A (RAID5) - 4 disks
Array B (RAID5) - 5 disks
Each array is one drive in windows(one volume).
Now I'd like to add 3 500gb SATA disks to Array B. How do I do it?
Not only do I have to do it on the array side, i'll also need to tell windows that the drive size has been changed.

Re: Extend RAID 5 Array
Hi,
1. add the disks into the enclosures
2. check if the firmwares are the latest
3. Expand the appropriate arrays (time demanding)
4. Expand the logical volumes (time demanding)
5. diskpart the new space on the Windows host side (online)
