Extending an EVA 6000 LUN beyond 2TB problem

Hello,

I'm having problem trying to extend an EVA 6000 LUN on a Windows 2008R2 SP1 server from 2TB to 2.2TB.  I've successfully increased the LUN's size to 2200GB in CommandView 10.  However I didn't see the extra 200GB in the server manager's Disk Management utility.  Needless to say I didn't see the extra disk space to extend using Diskpart utility.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated in advance.

I asked my PDL of storage architects and someone asked if you re-scanned the voluime.  If you did and it doesn't see the extra capacity, there's possibly a problem.

If the LUN extension went through, you may want to try representing the LUN to see if it sees the extra space.

I work for HP.

Be sure that the Volume is a GPT Partition.

The default MBR is limited at 2TB.

You can convert MBR to GPT Online, but not back.

Diskmanager > Right Click to Disk

(Sholud not use GPT for Boot Partition.)
