Fibre Channel firmware update

Hi Guys,

Looking for some advice on updating the firmware on a load of fibre channel drives...i have managed to purchase a Proliant ML370 G4 and ML350....AD542A Disc Enclosures....would it be possible to install Command view EVA and do it through that or is there a simpler way....

 

Any Advice would be much appreciated

The EVA disk enclosures are not designed to run standalone without an EVA controller pair ... without the controllers command view won't work.

Thanks Torsten....sorry i couldnt get back sooner...so is there no other way of updating the formware other than going through the Eva process? SUM?
