Firmware for smart array 6420??

I have had a heck of a time looking for the firmware for the HP Smart Array 6420 controller card for an RP3440 HP11.11

Their matrix suggest firmware version 2.78.
Do you think I can find this??!! I have spent the last few hours looking, and all I can find is an old version of 2.68 from 2006.

Am I missing something??

Usually I have hardware service handle this.

Hard to find in the firmware database. Might want to do a hardware case on this.

hi,

the firmware for the raid cards is in the driver package.

download the latest driver and you will get the latest firmware.

see the attcached doc for details.

As you seem to be doing alot with the SA cards lately you might be aswell doing some reading of the manual at www.docs.hp.com
