Getting Windows NT4 to recognise addtional HDD space
Hi,
I have added a new HDD to my compaq proliant 3000 RAID 5, as part of an exsisting logical drive of 101 GB. Everything seems fine except I dont know how to get WinNT4 to realise that there is now another 38 GB of space. Can anyone help me with some advice?
regards,
Blair.

Re: Getting Windows NT4 to recognise addtional HDD space
Blair,
Well if everthing went well, you now have free space available to the OS on the array. Your surrent logical drive and free space that is. The OS partition will not resize to the new space. Simple put you can now use Disk Manager to create a new partition and format it into a new logical drive.
