Getting an Expansion Cabinet for an EVA5K - Next Steps

We ordered a Cabinet Full of FATA disks for our aging EVA5K. Power is currently being run with HP doing the "install".

After the "HP install" - should we expect simply the FATA disks as one built diskgroup? Or can the customer define the "diskgroup"? Will this install of the expansion cabinet really entail downtime?

What's the advisable layout? I've no details yet of this cabinet - I was only told the net capcity at VRAID5 is 18TB with 144 x 400GB FATA disks.
